Yes, and I wonder if I (the tax payers) are the real fools with supporting a system that rewards lazy and work shy people. Our society have left our moral compass behind. How is it more feasible to not work, living off others people money versus working your ass off, get taxed to hell, paying rising rent. I wonder who are the real fools in this situation. My man's friend have shown us his new property without a shame and I wonder what the hell was I doing wrong. I only live comfortably, affording travels, good food, a nice place because I have to save or reject other things I want to have (MY dream kitchen and house makeover will take a while). It's also a plus that my man is having a good job. We both have to save and check our finances before of even thinking to buy a property abroad. His friend is in his late 50's or early 60's and have never really worked for the most part of his life. I wouldn't be too sad if somebody would report him.

sorry, I'm late with my response. I'm 100% with you about not so tasty Sauerbraten and preserving meat.

Back then peope didn't have the chemicals or technology to make meat and vegetables last longer. Throughout mankind's history people have found ways to preserve food- pickled, smoked, vinegar.. I follow a great YouTube channel teaching us how to make marmalade or jam from scratch, and the best ways to preserve it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGBoQUbDosQ. I freaking love Steffie! She's passing on knowledge that will be otherwise lost in our fast food/ pre-prepared, wasteful food society. That's how our ancestors have done it to get over the harsh winters, and I've the feeling that those forgotten skills will be needed again very soon.

I like oldschool recipes and preserving techniques-one of the greatest gift my grandmothers past on to me. I love that I've met a follow food from scratch enthusiast on Saidit-out of all the Intertweb places I visit!

I've never made Sauerkraut on my own. It's mostly used as a side dish over here but the Bavarian version is to die for. They eat it as a main and I don't even know how they make it. What I'm good at is my Rotkohl with apple, onions, cloves, goose or pork lard, cinnamon, a splash of cranberry or plum marmalade. A fantasy of mine is to have a little shop-Grandma's Kitchen, and serving traditional German food. It is a shame that we eat more foreign food (not that it's not good) and young people don't even know how to cook. I'd love to host seminars for kids, inviting the dying old school generation to share their knowledge. My grandmothers taught me how to go in the woods collecting berries and making jam, or bread. I envy my friends who know about mushrooms and collecting them.

I'm late responding to your post, apologies.

You are 100% right that the Bavarian's have superior foods. We have Sauerkraut as a side dish while the Bavarian's are going to the next level and made it a delicious main. If you love meat and game, the South of Germany is the place to go.

Talking about Sauerbraten; I've never ate or made it but did it for the first time because my SO loves it. You are right about marinating the beef for several days (You can also buy it post marinated in the supermarket) but I tend to cook from scratch. I've used two different recipes and had anxiety the whole time preparing it right. I always mess up when it comes to my cooking and an important occasion or people I want to please. The whole preparation, not knowing which recipe to choose from and getting it right was too much. He loved it at the end and wants some more. I know that going through the whole thing again, a second time, I'll probably mess up. He loved it the first time (In his top 3 of my dishes) and putting pressure on me for the second time to be as great as the first. It won't happen, not a signature dish of mine, and I don't like it, just to sour for my taste!!

At first, I just wanted to quote just a sentence from your response but than realized that your whole post resembles many of my thoughts. I agree with you on this one 100%. Yes, and I forgot about Hackepeter! Raw, minced pork meat with S&P and onions for breakfast! Or the tartar version with raw beef. I don't know what you think or know about me but my friends and family know that I love steaks (blue) and game meat, and fish. One of my signature dish is rabbit, and my Buletten are old school style-Grandma's recipe, with a touch of my new style (mixing it with avocado, Feta, apple or whatever). I'm not playing when it comes to food- even when I hate it, like the Sauerbraten I made for my Man. He's still bothering me to do it again-he's not an OG from Berlin, and not from the Rheinland but still loves his disgusting Sauerbraten. Took me days to prepare and cook that stuff. Never again! Maybe for his next birthday but NO.. Long story short: Nobody will take our meat away from us. Our diet is heavy with meat. I applaud the move to use less meat, and in particular not wasting it! My Sunday roast, will get you a meal, some sandwiches for the week, and the bones will give me a nice Brühe for my next stew.

I don't want to sound arrogant or belittling you but are you new to this? I'm thinking about worst case scenarios since I was a kid, and was aware that I'm at risk (single woman without a clan or a big family) since my teens. You are speaking from my heart! I went through the same journey, Reddit, Voat, some other alternatives before I arrived at saidit. Jason was welcoming amongst other prolific posters that made me feel at home. I don't neccessarily agree with them on all points, but boy did I enjoyed their back and forth, and debates! Jesus (the real one) , Horrux (what about NMN? Waiting for your answer!), Socks (Don't believe you are a shill and very neccessarily for Saidit. Like a counter weight), Mr. Carswell, and Co. I was making this post to find people with similiar experiences and not my first internet troll stalker and you-who got it so wrong to the universe and back.

My boyfriend loves me, his friends like me. They all love to hang around me and my place because I am chill. Sounds like bragging, probably is but still the truth. They don't even go to his place and rather stay at mine.

I don't ask him for much and he knows how lucky he is to have me. He is not the only one to know the facts. He can pull off shit without me being bothered, unlike his exes or the moody bitches of his best friends.

We are both busy during the week, only having breakfast in the morning and maybe 2-3 hours in the evening before he falls asleep during a movie. I rather spend the weekend buying a new bed, fixing our shower curtains, spending the whole weekend in bed with him or do other things together as a couple. I don't want another weekend with him "chilling with the booois!" and cleaning up after them on Sundays/Mondays.

You missed my point. He loves me for being me and not giving a shit. My neighbourhood is very convenient for him. He's loves my places and using it as a club for his friends. He knows that none of his friends wants to visit him in the land of the death. I live next to 2 of his best friends and everyone else, have a pc and playstation, got pubs, clubs, 24hour corner shops, dealers in my area, and always a well cooked warm meal ready (his friends girls can't and won't cook) and a bed to crash on.

He knows what he's got in me. He sees that other men are hitting on me (two of them his friends, let's talk about Bros before Hoes. I was the only sincere person and told him about his bros hitting on me behind his back. Another story)

You got almost everything wrong in your biased relationship analysis. He needs me more that I need him. He earns more but is more dependent on me than vice versa. I'm very independent, always doing my own things, he is insecure and lying. The first time about his . I could leave him now and he would be the one coming back.

You are painting me as the devil for wanting to spend more time with my partner alone without his friends at the weekends. We can't get shit done because it's either full house or he's not at home, I'm not always with them. You don't know nothing about us, and how he can basically do whatever he wants to do. I believe in independent partnerships, meaning: I'm not wasting my time on jealousy, games or drama. You cheat or lie on me, you know what's going to happen. I'm leaving. No drama, just moving on.

I'm undecided if I'm going to delete or move this post. It doesn't seem to be the right place and I'm already done and made my decision.

Not everything is just black or white. We do have good times and things I really appreciate about him, (intelligence, his love for me, cultured, making me laugh).

Our relationship is more complex than you can see from just one post. I rather try to fix it than just leaving him. You are right as well some things can't be fixed (he doesn't want to have kids, his insecurity, jealousy). And here we go, I'm on it again.

The first outage was because of 'unpaid' bills or something similar. Mag7 explained it further in a post a few days later. I haven't been on here in a while and wasn't aware that saidit was down again. I have my own suspicions and some reddit threads let me deeper into the rabbit hole.

A lot of shit is going on right now but nothing about detention camps for 'rulebreakers'. I'm aware of the infringement of our constitutional rights, for excample 'Versammlungsverbot' and 'Reisefreiheit' and the apathic reaction of our people. I was busy the last days but had your comment in my mind. I went through all the movies I've watched and bookmarked to find that particular movie: A guy at work when the Zombie attack happened. He makes it home to his 2 or 3 wives. They discuss if one of his wives is infected and if/how they should kill her- Zombie-Horror comedy.

I was desperate finding the movie and even double checked Singapore and Malaysian zombie, horror comedies on YouTube, Imdb, The internet... IIrc, it happened in a multi-ethnic, multi-religious country= Singapore/Malaysia. The main guy had 1 or 2 Buddhist wives and one Muslim woman who turns out to be a badass Zombie killer. They dragged the movie down for 15 minutes by going away from being a light hearted horror comedy to social-political commentary on the relations between Buddhists/Hindus and Muslims in Malaysia/Singapore.

I couldn't find the movie and it drove me mad! I'm not crazy and was watching it on YouTube! I didn't respond to your last post because I was on a mission to find that movie an giving you the link. The name of the movie could be a postcode area or borough of Singapore/Malaysia.

Btw, I've watched the movie with the cop stranded in the hospital (the link you gave me). It wasn't familiar at first but after watching the trailer I remembered watching it. I don't recall much, except for the scenes with the 'crazy' doc at the end, opening the gates to another realm that reminded me of the early Hellraiser movies showing hell.

I'm still hellbent to keep searching and giving you some links.. What are your thoughts on Pan's Labyrinth?

I had good experiences when I was using it. I'm currently using a similar platform that focuses mostly (but not exclusively) on my neighborhood.

I have tons of documentaries and short films stored. Unfortunately they take a lot of space. Now, I'm looking for the best program to compress the video files. I'm not a fan of cloud storage.

Lol, you sound a lot like a tech guy.

I have to admit that I could only understand half of what you were saying but I get the gist. Camera is always off and with duc tape stuck over it. Mic is always off when I'm not on discord. Cookies are usually deleted after log out/closing my browsers.

My primary phone doesn't have bluetooth or the capability to go online, just text messages (no pictures) and phone calls. People call me dumb for my old school phone and for not being on whatsUp but the joke is on them.

I have to read the new Google (YouTube) policies and changes. Something is up. YouTube never asked me to log into my account in all those years. I'm glad that I already saved the content of my account. Reddit is also pissing me off with the constant harassment asking me for my email.

I know that they eventually get me or already got, one way or another. I wish I was more of a tech person. Hey, thanks for the information you gave me.

I'm with you! I downloaded and saved all my 10 years + of YouTube history. Saved that shit on different devices to be ready to upload it somewhere else and safekeep it from erasure. Not as much as you-not even close-still a small contribution to our future Fahrenheit Library.

I'm still curious about YouTube and Reddit asking me to log in or to link my private email to my account for months, and now Google is having new policies they want me to agree with. They will let it for some weeks until they'll just nuke the YouTube accounts

Your response is very appreciated. I don't have a clue about computer stuff. Maybe a tiny bit more than the gen population but still a newbie, ready to get fucked by internet people and the government. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to an computer retard and not being an ass about it..

Let's make it clear because I want to understand. My mic is always turned off but Google and other entities could find a way to enable my computer devices to listen to me, without my knowledge? How can I check and be sure? I don't have Alexa, Siri, a smart phone, use duckduckgo, never have used google chrome as a browser, use Tor and VPN without truly understanding those systems to minimize the risk of my home and life being infiltrated. It's a lost cause if you are basic like me-89% of us, and our name is not Anonymous.

I was on Youtube for many years before Google forced me to make an account. How is it legal and big companies that want to control our lives are getting rewarded by the system? You either can't access the videos you have been collecting for over 10 years on your youtube account, or become part of the Google family. I swear, people are losing their shit about Facebook and not realizing that Google is the bigger and more dangerous cunt in the room.

I ignored their notifications about new policies. I think it was Google (I sometimes won't bother to separate YouTube and Google) first, notifying me of policy changes and later YouTube. OP is right. Fuckers are begging me to log in everytime I'm not in private surfing YouTube they'd beg me to log in.

I experienced similar things with reddit in the last Two weeks. They harass me to leave my email address since months now.
