They have been using this to dismiss all the examples of antifa violence and antifa calls to action.

People still are ignorantly chanting the mantra that Antifa are only about opposing fascism, when they are an anarcho communist organisation that has been operating for decades. This is a worldwide ideology that has perpetrated many acts of violence and terrorism that have previously been widely reported on and its all being ignored because Orange man bad.

Mainstream media in a nutshell. by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

People's confidence and trust with the media is at an all time low.

The media's constant divisive message and baiting tactics to create outrage is what has driven even low informed viewers/readers from them. The constant examples of inflating issues and incidents and trying to create the most divisive narrative has meant they have gone further and further down the path of inflammatory messages and narrow viewpoints to the point where even the smallest amount of research reveals to people that the media is not telling them the whole facts and are cherry picking to create outrage rather than report news and facts.

This might be a consequence of the 24 hour news cycle and plummeting revenue of traditional news reporting as the media organisations replace factual news reporting and articles with op-eds and opinion based shows with talking heads that are pushing a narrative rather than trying to inform their viewers/readers.

"Tranny has melt down after someone references reality"

You just have to laugh at this insanity, the reaction from the mayor shows how these people think, you can't go against the hive mind, feels over reals.

The guy spent a lot of time running around screaming about "muh Nazi's". Like all regressives though he got his turn in the stockade and he realised it was all the people that he had been standing with that were throwing the rotten fruit at him and realised that it had only just been him in that hate mob.

This happens so often that as soon as these people leave their hate bubble do they realise that they were the evil ones.

It does give me hope that society can be steered away from this regressive censorious hysteria but our governments and institutions are so embedded with this cancer that I still see things getting worse before they get better.

Always the issue with these AI is that they either go one or two ways, they go authoritarian left or libertarian right.

The only reason I go to reddit anymore is KiA and KiA2 so if we can move the good discussion over here the more the better.

Reddit's worldpolitics sub decides to burn everything down by ailurus in KotakuInAction

World politics was always a "free speech" sub.

FreeSpeechWarrior was one of the moderators of that political sub.

This is why there needs to be some level of rules and content restrictions to keep a sub about a specific topic otherwise if enough people don't like something they will purposefully derail and brigade it.
