The comic kind of skips a lot of steps.

The biggest is also represented in the pictures shown: The first group is building their own city. The second group, that never advanced in technology because of their location, was moved into the first groups location. Instead of helping them they were exploited, sold, and when it became morally wrong (aka no longer financially viable because of the industrial revolution) the rest of the world left them to fight over the advanced sci-fi alien-level technology we left behind.

To quote a dude from reddit:

1/. Technology

Africa was technologically behind the rest of the world because of the Sahara desert. Critical technology needed to develop other technologies, like writing systems and the wheel for instance, failed to reach sub-Saharan Africa from the Mesopotamian Civilizations. These technologies reached Europe and North Africa through merchants, nomadic travellers among others. Ethiopia is an exception as they had contact with Egypt and other civilizations that had these technologies. But for most of Africa, these technologies simply didn't arrive until Europeans came barging in.

Think about how there isn't any African script (Ethiopia being the exception of course) like there is a Chinese, Latin and Arabic script. Or how ubiquitous it is to see an African woman with a bucket on her head instead of using a carriage.

2/. State Centralization

OK so this needs a wee bit of explaining. Why were Europeans able to conquer whole swathes of African territory with seeming relative ease? Two main reasons. The first we've already covered in technology. Europeans had guns, which are a technology they gained from the Far East and figured out how to manufacture. Africans either didn't have guns or they traded them and couldn't manufacture their own.

The second reason that is also related to the first is lack of centralized states. Europe's main problem was the scarcity of land. Africa's? The scarcity of people. This difference is critical in understanding why Europe was able to conquer Africa. The competition for land in Europe encourage Europeans to form more centralized states with absolute rulers like Kings and Emperors. These rulers could then levy taxies and raise armies. And they did. So with all this fighting they clearly get experience and improve on their tools, strategies and tactics. Meanwhile, they create more robust structures of government that are more efficient at offering other amenities for control like roads. In Africa, however, land is plentiful. There are no incentives for people to pay tax. If I don't like your tax I'll simply move. This happened a lot. See Great Zimbabwe and its successor the Mutapa Kingdom.

I could go on about this point but its already long enough. But to finish off given the prevailing situation; most African leaders felt they controlled peoples and not land. As a result, when Europeans arrived they would ally with them to ascertain control of the people they didn't have control over rather than defend the land they could potentially own. Europeans took advantage of this to some extent, see The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

3/. Ideas

This point is last because I feel its the most recent but I think its as important as the first point. And just like the first point, the Sahara desert is the stumbling block. Ideas can prove pivotal in how a country fairs in history. Ethiopia got spared colonialism for a long time due to its exposure to Christianity and even among African states, the Ndebele simply dominated many tribes due to the ideas - such as military tactics - they retained from the Zulus. It has been theorized 1 that many countries were able to prosper due to ideals of inclusive economic and political structures that were able to spread from France (after the French Revolution of 1789) and England (after the Glorious Revolution) to mainland Europe and Western English-speaking democracies like the U.S. and Australia. These ideas failed to reach Africa in the 17th and 18th Centuries and hence why Africa lacks democratic and truly inclusive economic institutions to this day.

Conclusion These are only some of the reasons as to why Africa got dominated by Eurasian civilizations. It is still important to note that Africa didn't decline; it was developing at a very steady pace just as the rest of the world was in the 14th to 15th Century. It simply continued developing at this pace as Europeans were discovering other parts of the world and continually improving their economies, governments and militaries. By the early 16th Century the difference was insurmountable for most African polities.

To make matters worse... instead of incorporating them into our society we let the delusion of "black culture must involve being poor" thrive, so they don't have any shame in the way they act, and their expectations are set to the lowest possible degree. It's learned helplessness. This can be seen whenever a black infant is adopted by two white parents. Other blacks ostracize them for being successful and talking like there's hope for the future. Black history should be kept as a viable subject to study, learn from, and pass down to generations, as all histories of every ethnicity should be, but anybody pretending that this current black "culture" is a positive to society is lying to themselves.

Still sounds weird to me.

Personally, I find a strong drink relaxing after spending a day getting yelled at. The idea that I could go weeks hating life, sober, without alcohol... Yeahno. Hell no. If Bernie throws all of his morals out the window because he's worried Trump will win: Then Trump will win and it will be his fault.

The only thing Bernie has going for him is his appearance of an oath. He stood by what he believes. He believed dropping out was the best idea. It wasn't. They lied, cheated, and hedged their bets on crooked hillary and Bernie bowed in submission. If he drops out, under any circumstances now, it will be proof he is just another honorless bastard of a politician like the rest of them. In which case, Trump has earned the right by default, and it will because of him.

Compared to Biden, Trump doesn't look that bad. I will proudly vote for Trump over Biden everyday of the week.

I refused to vote for that wax figurine of a dementia patient who is more concerned with sniffing hair then giving a shit about his own morals. If Bernie doesn't want me to vote for Bernie, then I'll vote for Trump instead.

Nobody can use logic against you because logic requires the use of words containing definitions.

This is also why these racist-woke-morons hate math so damn much. They can't fight it. They can't change the definitions of numbers. Expect them to attack the institutions teaching math and physics. The less people understand numbers, the less threats there are to their control.

When they say "The Whites caused x" they don't mean white people. They mean the current system of western philosophy. They changed the definition of white and racist in order to speak nonsense freely without risk of logical debate.

I've seen fat people online that know martial arts. You can look them up on youtube. These people are fighters and don't even look like it. Just because someone looks strong doesn't mean they instantly know how to fight.

Women are, on average, intellectually superior to men.

lmfao

First off, that's sexist. 2nd, wtf does that have to do with working out? It's just a throwaway line that has nothing to do with the topic they're talking about. It's bullshit bitch signaling.

resulting in extreme aggression and physical confrontation.

It's funny they say this. I've seen two hoes fight and I can tell you right now, women have plenty of aggression. Nobody's talking about taking a knife to them.

lack of emotional intelligence

And this is the part that pisses me off. Anybody who thinks this bullshit is true needs to look up suicide statistics.

Ask round. Your average woman isn't going to date the crybaby bitch that isn't going to consider protecting her. Not only is it an evolutionary advantage to mate with someone that will protect offspring, but it also shows that the guy cares about the family. Guys have emotions too, but only girls are allowed to show them. Guys can't. Guy's didn't make that a rule. Women did. This whole concept that extra testosterone between the sexes turn men into killing machines is complete bullshit.

Websites like these make up nonsense to attract crazy people looking for excuses as to why people don't kneel before them.

Can't be too surprised. The war on drugs created a poverty stricken hell hole in majority black areas. Finally a movement starts that declares them exempt from the law. No shit they're gonna abuse their new power.

Guns out. Stand your ground (and if you can't you should move to a state that legally allows you to.)

Wait for them to kick in your door before opening fire. Don't drive anywhere you can't make a legal u-turn.

Stay safe out there. Don't engage. Don't enter areas they control. Wait them out. We have time on our hands. They don't. Eventually these wackos will run out of steam.

History. English. Math. Science. Everything else in public schools should be an optional class incapable of damaging your grade.

There's no logical reason for a mandatory Pottery Class that could lower my grade based on the opinions of an "Art" teacher on whether or not they liked my artistic design.

History is barely taught in schools. I've learned more history from wikipedia than 10 years of school.

English is a joke. My high school was full of people who considered Dr. Seuss a literary genius because it lacked big words. You might think, oh, foreign exchange students must have been having trouble then. NO! The kids raised in other countries would show up with fluent English better than the natives, plus their own language. Somehow their English lessons are better than ours. What's even worse is that past middle school the teachers run out of stuff to teach, so the class turns into "Book appreciation class" where they spoon feed the class a few "School Approved" books to read out loud. That's how I found out half my class couldn't read. When the teacher picked a kid to read from the book and stuttered through it so hard I thought they were joking. Then comes the "Describe how the character felt" essays that the "teacher" would dock points at random. The damn multiple choice tests were even worse. "The the main character a)Mad b)Angry or c)Irritated" How the tf is useful?

Math class wasn't all that bad most of the time. The poor teachers I had honestly wanted to help. One of mine even took time out of class to explain how debit cards work. A classroom full of teenagers with debt and we never knew how bad it all was. Wasn't part of the textbook, but it should have been. Combined with being half asleep it's amazing anybody can pass that class. There's no reason why students need to get up that early for school.

Science was a coin flip. Sometimes you get a teacher who knows shit. Other times you get one without a spine that will never correct someone talking about magical crystals out of fear that doing so could result in them losing their job. To think, that for speaking about science, the thing they have multiple degrees in, and educating a student, what they are supposed to be paid to do, they could get fired. And we all sit back and let that happen.

Colleges overprice everything because there's no way to stop them.

Private schools are a double edged sword. 90% of them controlled by different religions who don't really care about education, only money and politics.

but a bitcoin is not actually useful itself, it doesnt actually do anything. so its worthless then.

so can you explain how it has any worth.

You've just explained the entire concept of economics in 3 sentences.

e.g. the gold standard is realistic because gold is a tangible resource, gold is actually used for stuff.

U.S. Dollar hasn't been on the gold standard for quite some time, yet I can still buy gold with it.

You can also buy gold with bitcoin.

Things are literally worth what people believe it is. What the concept of "currency" did was streamline the bartering system. Possibly for the worst, but we got technology as a result, so it isn't all bad.

Also: Be careful what wallet you use for your bitcoin. There's a lot of them designed to steal from you.

installment of our 38 Billion "Military Foreign-Aid Deal" with Israel (which I don't understand why we even have as they are more than capable of defending themselves;

To put it bluntly: We're buying an alliance and hoping it doesn't backfire. Same way a dude pays a hooker and prays they don't catch anything.

Despite the insanely high cost for something not worth a 10th of that, the U.S. has too many politicians with friends that would choose Israel over America, which has resulted in the government being unable to stop hemorrhaging money. Having Israel as a friend wouldn't be that bad. I think we can agree the price is too high right now.

It'd be like if the U.S. was sending shitloads of money to the Vatican. No Catholic politician would vote to stop that flow of money. They'd increase it. Make it worse.

Separation of Church and State is a very nice idea that fails miserably when attempted. There's a reason China's got police raiding unsanctioned basement churches. They realize the threat a foreign leader poses if it continues to have control over a growing number of the population.

At the same time I recognize the abysmal treatment the Chinese people suffer under such an abusive rule. It sucks, but I'd rather spend the $38b and keep my freedoms then attempt a religious purge of the government.

I don't have an answer for the problems this country is facing. Nor can I perceive a solution. If by some miracle we stopped giving away free money, you said it yourself:

they are more than capable of defending themselves;

We'd lose them as an ally in an instant. $38b is nothing to sniff at. The second we stop becoming a wallet for them they will ignore us, or worse, declare us an enemy. Considering the sizable portion of their faith that co-exists in American politics an outright demonization of our country over money would prove to be quite damaging to any military assets we have in the area. That would have serious ramifications that could take decades to repair, if at all.

Blind hate has to be taken out of the equation when considering the bigger picture here. We need them more than they need us and they have the political control to maintain the arrangement in their favor. There's nothing I can think of that could change it.

A lot of things will be rapidly fixed after the fighting is over. There will be several years of progress before everything goes to shit again.

So long as foreign mercenaries from the UN don't show up, we can't lose. I doubt they would risk America turning against them. Public opinion on the UN isn't that great as it is. Knowing they tried to stop us from ruling ourselves would result in a large part of the new government showing them no political mercy.

Maybe Canada gets involved, but I doubt it. China or Russia would step into our waters to split our focus for a laugh. No country would dare step foot on U.S. soil while we're fighting each other.

I see very few scenarios where the civilians lose. Not the gambling type, but I like the odds, and am willing to bet on a better future. At least a decade of peace afterwards. It would be nice to see.

Indoctrination: Children as young as 10 are getting social media accounts.

Normalization: Everybody else has it, including your friends, and if you don't then you're out of the loop.

Gamification: A point scoring system is built in to promote good behavior, using it more triggers the pleasure center in the brain from the higher numbers, and the punishment from bad behavior is enforced by your own social circle that also use the platform.

Children aren't taught strategy or tactics anymore. They want the attention their two working parents never provided them. Social media became the perfect way to fill the void with the illusion of being noticed by their peers.

Reminds me a little of how some communist countries make everything illegal, and then only enforce the law to remove competitors.

It's ridiculous that they think simply adding a wire or rope around the product will scare away customers. The dude buying a chainsaw, that deals with the idea of being crushed to death on a daily basis as a lumberjack, will not care in the slightest if they have to ask an employee to take a rope off. The target customer for Home Depot are people buying construction equipment, hammers, nails, balancing on a ladder to paint, and lots of stuff that could cause injury. I highly doubt their light bulb department is the thing keeping them afloat.

There's no way installing bluetooth is the cheaper option compared simply tying stuff down. This feels like somebody high up in the company has a brother that works in a chip factory making bluetooth and saw an opportunity to make some extra bucks.

power tools that won't work unless they're properly scanned and activated at the register via Bluetooth technology. If a thief managed to smuggle a power drill out of the store without paying, the drill simply wouldn't turn on.

Effort and Cost.

While this will stop most shop lifters it won't stop them from selling them online at a discount to people smart enough to bypass the on/off switch.

I do find it a little funny how they say this is their best solution that avoids hurting their brand.

Defects will happen. A tired a employee won't scan it right. Now there's a person on the job trying to use a tool that won't turn on. He makes a post online about it. Other people chime in with similar experiences. Other brands are recommended. Then somebody will post a youtube tutorial about which wire to disconnect to bypass the bluetooth. That video gets removed for "piracy" or some made up reason.

Sounds more and more like John Dear hell every day.

Can't wait for the anti-right-to-repair people to start screaming when customers start taking their broken power tools to someone like Louis Rossmann who can "fix" their tools for $5, instead of going back to the store to have it be turned on.

I'd rather pay $5 to have the bluetooth safeguard removed at a small tech shop than disabled at the store who couldn't do it right the first time.

And all of this because the store doesn't want to hurt their brand image by tying things down ffs.
