As a nurse, she should realize she has exactly the right hormones for the female she is, and that even if she didn’t, her chromosomes would still make her a woman. Scary to think she’s a nurse to normal patients too.

Yes, it’s horrible having your sexuality denied, especially when bisexual people are already so marginalized. I will adamantly complain to anyone who asks, though, that bisexuality means you’re attracted to men for being men and women for being women, and not to people with male bodies cosplaying women!

Because other than the trans support shit, which hopefully will soon be relegated to fad status, the left is far more interested in crushing the patriarchy and the far left wants to crush free market capitalism in favor of socialism?

I love it; this is the same idea that the magician/skeptic James Randi ran for decades to bring media attention to his debunking of various “spiritualists,” faith healers, and con artists of all varieties. It was very effective; let the crazies talk in their own language and then destroy their bullshit with science and give the public both knowledge and a good laugh.

Men vs Women when it comes to biological children by TalkToTheVoid in GenderCritical

[–]Aloudmeow 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

As a married child free woman I can’t disagree more. The question of whether or not to reproduce should be agreed upon before marriage but some people don’t have their decision set in stone until they’ve lived as a couple and seen how good life can be without kids. Folks need to be encouraged to leave a marriage as soon as they make that decision if their partner doesn’t share the same feelings so as not to waste that person’s time. But it doesn’t always work out that way and no one is done any favors by either agreeing to have kids they don’t want, or to be holding back someone who has incompatible feelings.

Right, and I think that’s who the concept of political lesbianism applies. Bisexual women can and sometimes do, decide to live “as lesbians” due to their commitment to certain political issues. They can consciously choose to date only women and ignore any attraction to men they may also feel. But by definition almost, political lesbianism is not an option for exclusively heterosexual women.

I bought it and just finished it and I was not impressed. By her own admission she only focused on upper middle class people, hardly used statistics, expressed some very anti feminist opinions (it’s clear she’s “conservative” tho not full on right wing) and based the book on a mere handful of interviews. Her solutions were not to give your teen a cell phone and move across the country if they announce they’re trans. Not what I expected at all.
