If you're a doctor, and you can't find a 18 year old wife prepared to dig your gold for 18 months and then leave you and take the house, you're not trying hard enough.

If you seek happiness for yourself, you're probably better off cutting out the middle man and just finding a woman you don't like who just turned 20 and give her your house. Divorce takes it out of you. (Or so I hear).

Fox news is misinforming readers.

Here's the preprint:

https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.10.13.512134v1.full

TLDR: No, they reduced the deadliness of the original virus by 20%, by replacing the spike proteins with omicron spike proteins. Note that this deadliness is in a type of mouse engineered to be especially susceptible to CoVID, for use in these types of study: The results are not transferable to its effect on your normal mouse, so you should stop worrying about that. An needless to say a mouse is also dissimilar to a human, in its response to infection by CoVID.

1) You wonder if the dangerousness is related to the spike protein itself on the omicron variant of CoVID, as well as the main body of the virus.

2) So you make some mice that are genetically smooshed to be especially susceptible to SARS-CoV-2, by having them express a human version of Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), and the human keratin 18 (K18) promoter, which makes the human ACE2 express in the epithelial cells.

3) Then you take 3 CoVID virus strains.
* The original strain from Wuhan.
* Omicron.
* A the original strain, but with the Omicron spike proteins instead of the original protiens. (For the interested, in the spike protein are 37 of the 59 differences between the original and omicron.)

The mice infected with the original die about all the time (6/6 transgenic mice)
The mice infected with omicron live (0/10 transgenic mice)
The mice infected with the hybrid strain die about 80% of the time (8/10 transgenic mice)

Germany criminalizes journalist for exposing Ukrainian war crimes by Alphix in censorship

Agree entirely.

She said that the Russian massacre at a maternity hospital in Mariupol was a Ukrainians false flag attack.

That's not "reporting on Ukrainian war crimes" by any measure. Russia has admitted that the airstirke on the hospital was deliberate: https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/03/10/7330042/

She also claims backing Ukraine is akin to supporting Nazism. I wonder if she knows Zelenskyy lost family in the holocaust.

I can't find a source detailing what the charges are. And the claim that the authorities withdrew 1600 euros from her personal bank account sets off my bullshit detector. That's a paltry amount of money. If you fine someone, you send them a penalty notice. I believe that you need to jump through a stack of hoops including demonstrating plausible suspicion of fraud or tax evasion to even look at a bank account in Germany.

Perhaps paypal are holding some of her earnings. They do that.

Amish Farm Fined $250K, Facing Jail Time for Humanely Raising and Selling Food to Willing Customers by Drewski in corruption

[–]ActuallyNot 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I believe the $250K was for contempt of court. Not for humanely raising and selling food to willing customers. (Is the willing redundant there?)

It seems that in late 2015, the Food and Drug Administration, isolated and identified Listeria monocytogenes (L. mono) bacteria in samples of Miller’s raw milk; through whole genome sequencing, found the bacteria to be genetically similar to L. mono in two individuals who had developed listeriosis (with one dying) after consuming raw milk; and named Miller’s as the “likely source” of those infections.

So they went to the FDA to get access to the farm to inspect the operations. They haven't gotten the ordered access over the past 5 years, and now the Judge reckons it's time for them to do something about the repeated orders to allow inspections not having any affect. Hence the $250K.

To be fair, he could allow the fucking inspections.

The experimental, rushed mRNA covid vaccines being pushed onto the population.

There was a rush to get the vaccines to market because there's a pandemic going on.

But the experiments were done. The mRNA vaccines have complications in fewer than 1 in a million. And they protect from CoVID, which can destroy organs.

They're not 100% without side effects, sometimes serious, but they're a good vaccine. Relax and revel in your increased immunity.

Everyone looks exactly like an ape because everyone is an ape.

There's groups from Europe that retain more Neanderthal genes, and that comes with a bit more beard, thinner lips, and the hair didn't stand up like in a true human. And they've retained the white skin probably from northern European Neanderthals.

To clarify, she says that medical journals can no longer be trusted. Due to funding bias, publication bias, and conflicts of interest.

"The problems I’ve discussed are not limited to psychiatry, although they reach their most florid form there. Similar conflicts of interest and biases exist in virtually every field of medicine, particularly those that rely heavily on drugs or devices. It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine."

And she said it 14 years ago.

It is man-made, that's certain.

FFS.

Remember the bat meat at the Wuhan wet market? That was the original story we were told for the origin of the virus.

Seems to have come from there, yes. The total origin story has not (to my knowledge) been told, as there was some other intermediate species between bats and humans that hasn't been nailed down. Hell, we're not even certain it wasn't a lab leak.

But here, men are admitting to creating a deadly virus, even more deadly than what they said started in bats.

Nope. Less deadly than that, at least to mice. Only 80% kill rate, down from 100%.

I also wonder why men would even try to make a more deadly form of COVID.... and admit publicly they are doing so.

They didn't. What you see here is shit reporting by Fox News: Which, as you should know by now, is about par for that course.

Allowing Russia to expand its territory doesn't work. They took Crimea, and then kept invading.

Putin is looking for the boost in public opinion that he got from annexing Crimea. And will continue to annex his neighbours until he is shown that invasion, ethnic cleansing and annexation is not worth it.

The only solutions that will result in a lasting peace are ones that return Ukraine to the borders that are internationally recognised. This is this shape. Nothing less is viable.

All this shootings by police is counterproductive on every level: Respect and trust for the police, crime investigation. When it happens to minorities it seeds interracial violence and hate crimes, and contributes to creating a vigilante culture where police are not used.

  • A number of companies that were associated with President Trump have filed for bankruptcy. There can be no assurances that TMTG will not also become bankrupt.

He's correct.

No he's wrong. He says that water vapor reflects "heat" into space.

And he thinks that's why everyone is wrong, and water vapor feedback is negative.

Water vapor condenses into clouds

It can. If it does, it's no longer water vapor.

Part of the reason it's a positive feedback is because a warmer atmosphere will hold more water vapor without it condensing.

I suspect you both knew what each other meant

I suspect he has no idea what i meant. Water vapor is a positive feedback, and he's got no handle on that at all.

I know he's talking about clouds, but he's wrong that that clouds form refutes water vapor feedback. And afaikt he genuinely thinks cloud feedback is negative.
