The way I see public sex is the people directly engaging in it are not the only ones involved. I wholly feel sex and similar acts should be private. Their being “queer” doesn’t change that in the least.

I was once sitting in my car in the parking lot at school waiting for my class to start. There was a girl masturbating in the passenger seat of the car next to me. (I live in a state where the window tint is minimal, so I could see everything.) I was extremely uncomfortable and felt like I was the one invading her privacy, so I just kept my head down and pretended I didn’t see anything. I couldn’t leave because I didn’t want her to think I had been watching her. What should’ve been something that involved only her suddenly involved me because of where she decided to do it. I know people get off on that, but I just think that’s selfish because not everyone is into that. Clearly, I’m not the only one who feels this way because there’s laws criminalizing this very thing.

We tend to focus on people who are promoting hate that often doesn’t get recognized as hate (i.e., misandry and racism against whites). The author rarely comes into play; it’s the ideas that matter.

At any rate, TiA is definitely on the chopping block. They’ve had the automod commenting on every post promoting their ruqqus. It’s just a matter of time before it and similar subs get the hammer.

I've had my own experience with calling myself nonbinary, and it was the most depressing time in my life. (I actually posted about it on reddit about a month and a half ago. I might repost it here for posterity if nothing else.)

What I dislike most about all this we're never able to call them out on it anywhere they can see, otherwise we're "promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability" and silenced. We're relegated and confined to our own spaces where we can be easily branded as a hateful community. It's ridiculous. I really hope more people are peaking now.

I had something similar happen on that same thread on r/reclassified. Proof. I made the mistake of engaging them, but it just really pissed me off. Someone else called me a TERF because I refused to take the post down. More proof. What do they gain by antagonizing and bullying us? I firmly believe in the right to speak freely, but god I wish they'd shut the fuck up and leave us alone. It is entirely their fault that we got banned from Reddit. I've got the same user as on Reddit. I wasn't very active on TL, but I definitely plan on being active here. I'm tired of people disrespecting us.

I'm in my early twenties. I'm technically GNC, but I don't care for that term. I'm politically moderate, but I've been leaning more libertarian recently. I am not a radical feminist, but I am sympathetic to their cause and I agree with some of their views. I love classical and neoclassical history, art, and architecture. I also know a lot about criminal justice. I play a lot of video games (PS4; RDR2 Online, and almost any Ubisoft game), so if anyone wants to play with me, hit me up. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
