And who decides what the specific rules of a sub are? Because i'm pretty sure politics removes everything not politics and everything nazi/white supremacist. Pretty sure food removes everything not food and food related fetishes.

They only things ive removed so far is pure misogyny and links i thought were dead and anything i thought that drags down the quality of this sub. like the rules say

Ad hominems can be removed. "misogyny" is too subjectively defined, and is not on the saidit rules.

"dead links" do not degrade the quality of discussion, especially if they're not actually dead. So I don't think you should ever remove a dead link since you can't tell if it's actually dead or not.

If you want to stick to only removing infractions that drag the quality of discussion down the pyramid of debate, and stop removing "dead" links, then I'd consider re-adding the sub to /all

How am i even supposed to do that with a woman sub on a site with lots of womanhaters when i can not remove misogyny for dragging down the level of the sub?

Because i was planning to remove the crimes links aswel because they have absolutely no value to the ONLY woman sub on all except to make women look bad.

Like do you even understand the situation with women content on the internet? Its constantly targetted.

So you want to remove things that "make women look bad"? Including removing on-topic posts that are about women, because it's about women doing crimes?

That's extremely subjective, and is against the saidit moderator rules to apply such subjective mod rules for a sub on /all. You just stated you're going to remove things with a deliberate bias, removing things that look bad but are on topic, rather than just allowing for the free flow of information.

So your sub will definitely remain off of /all as long as you are going to remove things based on your own subjective rules instead of allowing for the free flow of information as saidit is intended.

Anyway, good luck with your sub. Have a nice day.

Ok so you just dont want women on saidit. Got it mate. I'll stop promoting the site and leave women dead as a fish.

That's not what I said. I don't think you're acting in good faith during this discussion... I've tried to explain things to you many times, but you keep lashing out instead of working with me, and that immaturity also proves you're not ready to have a sub on the front page of saidit.

You can't just delete working links because you think they're dead. You can't just make up your own mod rules unless you want to be off of /all. Sorry. Those have always been the rules.

https://saidit.net/s/women/comments/8xq9/your_tampons_probably_have_cancercausing/x0ug This is what happened mate. This is a place to mock women now.

Well it seems you already gave up, instead of working within the rules everyone else can manage to follow

[–]NeedMoreCoffee 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

I was working perfectly within the rules making a sub for women by women instead of the 100 000 th sub where women are mocked on the internet. You just think leaving up misogyny will work for a woman sub. Its not my fault you dont get how bad the situation is for women on the internet and how much extra effort needs to happen.

For someone running a site like this you should have realised this already.

You realize reddit already has tons of women-safe-space subs just like what you describe, right?

And that one of saidit's bigger subs is /s/LGBdroptheT which is filled with gay women. They have no problem being off of /all because they wanted their own mod rules, and they still are flourishing.

We don't let mods make up their own rules for a reason. This isn't reddit. That's what destroyed most of reddit. So if you could work within the existing rules, we'd have no problem having you on /all. But if you want to do your own thing and be off of /all, that's fine too.
