Alright I removed your sub from /all since you want to have your own sub mod rules, no worries.

If you have other questions, ask away.

So what i am just supposed to let men who hate women post constant bullshit and if i dont the sub women wont get on the front page? WTf magnora. Every single sub here had the right to their parameters but this one cant?? Explain.

I already told you... every moderator on saidit has to follow the saidit moderator rules. https://www.saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/w6s/saidit_rules_for_moderators/

If you choose not to follow those rules, then your sub is off the main page, no hard feelings.

If you don't want it off the main page, then tell me you'll follow those rules as a mod.

That's how it works, that's how it's always worked. This allows mods to do their own thing if they like. Several subs have opted to do this, and if you want to do your own thing that's fine too.

If you can meet your moderator goals while fitting them within the saidit moderator rules, then that's no problem at all. But if you want to just remove whatever you like, then you'll have to have the sub not be on /all. We do this to prevent moderator abuse and corruption, which was one of the main problems that caused the downfall of reddit.

None of what i removed breaks those rules. Did you even look at what i removed? Posts that women are not intelligent should not be here. Posts that women should not be able to vote should not be here. Posts with broken links should not be here.

There has not been a moderator here for TWO years. This sub is full of shitposts about women. Posts from people who frequent incel subs that post crimes women committed.

I was cleaning it up and sorting this abandoned place out which d3r and i talked about. He said it was great because we need more women on saidit. And here you are just randomly showing up because axa had a hissyfit and removing it from all.

Why though? Because you disagree with them?

Disagreement is not grounds for censorship on saidit.

Repeatedly dragging the quality of discussion downward is though, so maybe if you were looking at it through that lens (the actual rules of saidit) then maybe we could re-add you on /all? However removing dead links (that aren't dead) doesn't fit anywhere in saidit moderator rules, and is infact against those rules.

But instead it sounds like you want to make up your own rules, which is fine but we take you off of /all, as we've done. And that's fine, no problem with that. But if you want your sub to be on the main page, you have to follow the saidit moderator rules.

They're really not restrictive, and a lot of what you're doing might fit in to those rules. Try giving them a read. https://www.saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/w6s/saidit_rules_for_moderators/

Why???? you think making posts telling women they are dumb and should not have the right vote IN THE WOMAN SUB is not dragging the the quality of discussion down??? WTF dude come one

This is absolute bullshit. So what you just want to keep this place dead and let all the incels post how dumb women are? Is that what you want because no woman will join a sub like that. You can just say i fucking hate women and be done with it then and you know it.

[–]magnora7 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (16 children)

you think making posts telling women they are dumb and should not have the right vote IN THE WOMAN SUB is not dragging the the quality of discussion down???

Did I ever say it wasn't? I'm simply saying you need to remove things for reasons that are saidit rules, not just your own made up reasons. If the rules apply, then they apply. But you can't just make up your own rules, or else the sub gets taken off of /all

[–]NeedMoreCoffee 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

And who decides what the specific rules of a sub are? Because i'm pretty sure politics removes everything not politics and everything nazi/white supremacist. Pretty sure food removes everything not food and food related fetishes.

They only things ive removed so far is pure misogyny and links i thought were dead and anything i thought that drags down the quality of this sub. like the rules say

Ad hominems can be removed. "misogyny" is too subjectively defined, and is not on the saidit rules.

"dead links" do not degrade the quality of discussion, especially if they're not actually dead. So I don't think you should ever remove a dead link since you can't tell if it's actually dead or not.

If you want to stick to only removing infractions that drag the quality of discussion down the pyramid of debate, and stop removing "dead" links, then I'd consider re-adding the sub to /all

[–]magnora7 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

The only real problem is your removal of the "dead links" that aren't actually dead... that's against saidit mod policy to just delete things for your own reasons. If you can justify a removal based on the saidit rules, then that's no problem.

But "dead links" is not one of the saidit rules reasons for removal that's allowed for mods

[–]NeedMoreCoffee 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

There is nothing in your rules about not removing dead links. And as i showed you, it showed dead to me.

https://www.saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/w6s/saidit_rules_for_moderators/

Mods cannot remove posts that are on-topic and in good faith. The post with the 'dead' link was both on-topic and in good faith, and even had comments under it. You can't just delete content from saidit! That's why people come here, because we don't censor everything like reddit does.
