So let me get this straight, based on the graphic magnetic north used to be in the Canadian Arctic. So at this time a ship up in the geographic North Pole could head south toward Canada and the compass would say that they are heading north?

Is it a coincidence that it just happens to line up with true north suddenly?

I think that it's gone past the geographical North Pole.
