in the light of recent events i think it was because of the nz shooting

what about it though? You think all these websites are being externally attacked because they're just talking about the fact the shooting happened? Who would be motivated to do that?

no, i mean its the sites themselves, not an external attack.

liveleak is also down, to stop spreading the video

but weren't the website outages happening before the nz shooting happened?

Were they practicing for a future event that just happened to come 12 hours later? Seems weird

uh, yes that would be a stretch. i dont know when the shooting happened relative to the outages..

I think the outages were about 12-24 hours before the shooting based on what I was seeing
