It is Gaia's will.

Seriously, if anyone is concerned about a single user a group of users posting too big of the share of new posts, then I think the problem is others not posting enough, not that some are posting too much.

This guy was posting a very unnatural amount in a short time, and he's a troll who's been banned numerous times for advocating violence and spamming. Technically there's a rule that you shouldn't make more than 8 posts in a 24 hour period. I don't know how cut-and-dry that is, but it's pretty clearly made for cases like this one.

What a weird rule.

I can't find any such rule here: https://saidit.net/wiki/index

#3: https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/j1/the_saiditnet_terms_and_content_policy/

It's not a hard-and-fast rule, but I think it clearly applies in this case. Technically, this user was already a serial ban evader.

Oh hey. I didn't see it there either, but I Ctrl+F'd "24" and it didn't come up. Thank ya.

I'm not that concerned, just I usually look through the whole /s/all/new/ for a day, and it seemed like it was a lot of him this time, so I decided to count (it's easier than it looks - basically one page + 2 posts=52 vs. three pages without 1 post=149).

Zapped 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

Yes. He has been pretty prolific the past 24 hours. I got tired of the Debbie Downer posts months ago, but have learned to live with them. I even find a few interesting enough to read.

neolib[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

Debbie Downer

For me his posts read more like variations on accelerationism idea:

Accelerationism ... call for the drastic intensification of capitalist growth, technological change, infrastructure sabotage and other processes of social change to destabilize existing systems and create radical social transformations, otherwise referred to as "acceleration"

"acceleration" of racial conflict through violent means such as assassinations, murders, terrorist attacks and eventual societal collapse, in order to achieve the building of a White ethnostate

Could be.

I have no problem with a high posting user. I have a problem with a shit poster.

Gaia! Eat bugs and hold your breath, for mother earth.

So to make this site great, you recommend AstroTurfing and spamming? What could go wrong?

Zapped 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

Why would you say that I'm recommending that?

Questionable-̱͞|͞מ͟͞͞פ͟ו͟͞͞ק͞פ͟͞͞ק͞|̊̆ 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun 1 year ago

Because there is no down vote button, and you replied with this:

Seriously, if anyone is concerned about a single user a group of users posting too big of the share of new posts, then I think the problem is others not posting enough, not that some are posting too much.

What do you think you are saying there?

Zapped 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

You said that I recommended astroturfing and spamming. I did not. If more users posted genuine and interesting content, then the trolling/spamming won't seem so prevalent.

The problem is they don't know about the blocking functionality.

Yeah, he really, really wants us all to know how much he hates Jews.

And "christcucks"

UbiquitousCultOfSelf 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun 1 year ago

and sucks on the neo-pagan monolith of the made up people group, the Palpatineians. Gay-ah.

Vulptex 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun 1 year ago

Wait...Palpatineians?

UbiquitousCultOfSelf 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun 1 year ago

Pretty much. They feign being a frail old man, but they have seething hatred power and the united force of the Arab Brotherhood behind them.
People forget world history so easily. Which nation re-named Canaan/Israel to Pal again? World opinion is so against Israel that they would believe a made up people group who are actually the majority (How many billions of muslims are in the world again?) over the people G-d gave the land of Israel to. Sad. About as fun and believable as that d-bag socks.

Seems a bit off that one

Are you saying that Gaia is "a bit off." In other words, what do you mean by "That one."

two autists on board, at least

IkeConn 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun 1 year ago

I blocked it and banned it from /s/Schadenfreude. When I warned it with a 7 day ban it told me to fuck off. Then I banned it forever. There are times when a site wide ban hammer is indicated but as soon as we go down that road we risk turning into Reddit.

neolib[S] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun 1 year ago

/u/Vulptex removed a lot of his comments from /s/whatever/ (from this post in particular):

https://saidit.net/s/whatever/modlog

I didn't mean for this post to be seen as a call for such actions, for the record.

Vulptex 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun 1 year ago

It doesn't matter, I would've done the same thing had I discovered this on my own. There's a rule against posting way too much like this, and this particular user is a troll who has been banned numerous times for spamming and advocating violence.

transbob 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun 1 year ago

Some people just need to be banned.

LarrySwinger2 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

I have to ask why.

neolib[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 1 year ago

Elaborate - do you want to ask him? or me?

It's a joke.

Well, most of them are discounted - I blocked 200+ spammers/one-domain-posters. Forgot to mention that in the title.
