No. They started spamming my sub way before that. At that point, I didn't care anymore. It's not addiction. It's that most people literally don't know of any other alternatives. I was on a site GirlsAskGuys for two years and was done with Reddit but then they hired a bunch of dipshits that Musk fired from Twitter to be admins on there and I was the first one out in the Mass Purge of January 1st of this year.

I went back to my personal empty sub on Reddit after that because I like being creative, and then Reddit purged me and others the first day of Pride Month. I literally only found this site by ChatGPT. Voat is dead and Lemmy is dogshit and almost as far-left as Reddit.
