How do you know so much yet so little?

You know what the inner workings of CERN are, but you can't offer any proof of any supernatural thing. How do we detect that there is something beyond what everyone recognizes as reality? What evidence is there of other worldy beings, besides some unverifiable claims about hyrogliphs or missing scrolls?

Big claims require big evidence. For that reason I'm out.
