Patreon will not allow me to use their service. Weird. I was trying to send money to a man who uploads camping videos, who said he needed food. I was not requesting money. And how is this suspicious? They sent me this email....

They detected your IP address as suspicious, maybe? Did you use Tor or VPN?

I appreciate you trying to help trouble shoot. I did not use VPN or Tor. I was not trying to be anonymous. And I gave them my debit card which would reveal who I am.

I sent a message to Patreon asking them to explain. I might provide an update if they answer.

They sent a generic response and have not solved the problem nor given any answer to why they denied the "suspicious" fund transfer.

If the Patreon receiver provided a crypto currency address to receive donations, this problem of censorship, middleman fees, and verification wouldn't exist.
