On a related note, there were times that I fell asleep thinking about something and in my delerious half asleep state I would cone up with brilliant ideas but forgot them by the time I woke up the next day. All I remeber is that I had this brilliant idea but for the lofe of me couldn't remeber the details.

Then I watched a podcast and some guy talking about that exact same thing happening to writers etc. and he suggested people keep a pen and notepad next to the bed to write that stuff down before you forget.

I did that.

I read the note the next day and it was retarded. Like the troll physics meme type retarded where it kind of made sense if you don't think about it.

I think people who get high and become enlightened are having an experience like that where their logical brain can't function well enough to tell the imaginative brain that what it is coming up with is retarded.

That is why all those people can't explain their revelations to others. They all just say you have to get high and experience it yourself. Because they can't remeber the brilliant idea, just the feeling that they had a brilliant idea.
