It's interesting though. Wonder if the hormonal changes have something to do with it. I've talked with some gay men in casual settings before and they like to claim that sexuality of Lesbians is far more malleable than gay men. Essentially the claim is gay men don't "become straight" but lesbians tend to when they get older, not all of course.

Curious if there's some hormonal changes going on, or perhaps she's experiencing hormonal emotions she hasn't before. I've noticed that a lot of people seem to struggle with close platonic relationships, hell could even call them intimate non-sexual relationships with the same sex. There's no sexual attraction but the same basic feelings of love, like caring if someone is happy or not, or healthy, or wanting to do a bunch of random crap together is there. Same as with a lover, except there's no desire for sex.

I wonder if by dating women she means more "having a bestie" or if they are actually sexual lesbians. Bunch of lesbians I know seem basically sexless but enjoy having a partner beyond that.
