Are there any examples out there?

Plenty. There's no way you've never ever heard of this, and I'm not going to write a whole book for you, which seems to be what you expect everyone to do. We should both be familiar with all viewpoints.

I've never heard of this, and i find it difficult to believe.

You don't need to write a book. Just link to an example.

I already gave you one, and that wasn't good enough.

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

What the fuck?

What was the link to the one you gave me?

[–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

I gave you Iran as an example. There are plenty of people in the US with that same mindset.

Okay. I accept that it happens in Iran.

The causes of anti-homosexual policy in Iran is their interpretation of Islamic law, which in turn holds up the government, which is a theocracy.

I don't accept that those things are affecting policy in the US.

Yet.

Stop shifting the goalposts. Parents and educators who have the same mindset will pressure kids into transitioning, as will their peers and even the media. You ended with "yet", so you've now admitted that you believe there are people in the US who have that mindset.

Stop shifting the goalposts.

I'm not shifting the goalposts.

You said they do it in Iran.

I said "So it doesn't happen in america?"

You said "Homophobic parents and even gender essentialist schools sometimes pressure kids into transitioning when they have no desire to."

I asked for an example.

You said there were plenty

I asked for an example

You said I gave you one, ignoring that were talking about one from the US

I asked "what the fuck"? Assuming that you were at least trying to follow the conversation.

You looped back to the same point earlier in the conversation.

What's going on here? Why can't you follow a conversation?

You ended with "yet", so you've now admitted that you believe there are people in the US who have that mindset.

No, I'm saying that the US isn't a theocracy yet.

But you and I both know there are plenty of people who would love for the US to become a theocracy. Is it really hard to believe that those people pressure kids into their worldview?

I would give more examples but Google is biased and makes it impossible to find much. You can't find much of anything on Google or any search engine anymore, and if it goes against the liberal narrative it's even worse.
