You say you always be good to the kids. Yet you hate the mother.

You deserved to be punished. Yet now you got some redemption path shown. Dont squander it, make amends and go on. You chose her to be the mother, bear the consequences of your actions

"Loving your enemies" is not the same "love" as the love you give your kids. True love is giving others what you would give to yourself in the same situation. If your wife is a bitch, loving her also means calling her out and treating her exactly as you would like to be to not be a bitch. Not rocket science; God gives you permission to assert yourself to your wife when needed be, so do it, especially if she is a bitch.

Just never forget to forgive her; which is not the same as forgetting what she did. You only forgive and forget to those truly willing to make amends and repent for their sins.
