Covid lockdowns primed the current financial crisis. The lockdowns and the stimulus required to keep the economy alive helped drive inflation. Then the Fed jacked up interest rates. And all hell broke loose.

Since the very first inception of currency (The time of Genghis Khan) kingdoms, countries and empires have tried to print their way out of trouble and every time mass inflation has followed within a few years.

Increasing interest rates was the feds only option at this point in time. If they had not, bread would $20 a loaf. Implying that the feds had a choice in the matter is incorrect. Things would be so much worse had they not.

As for this current financial crisis, well is seams we learned little from 2008. This was always coming, Covid just moved it ahead.

Our only true hope seemed to be the Occupy Wall Street movement. But that was shut down and I truly believe replaced with this woke crap so we would fight among ourselves rather then see who the true asshats of this world are.

Now we once again have to deal with the fallout of these lunatics.

The covid lockdown didn't prime anything. It exacerbated it. We've been printing money at will for DECADES at a zero interest rate. This was happening regardless, but why not fuel the culture wars while they are at it. The fed always jacks up interest rates during inflation, it's the only answer. Then they buy up defaults for pennies on the dollar because they have the cash to do so. It's all planned, enjoy.

Probably seen as icing on the cake by the leftist radicals. The lockdowns and protocols were implemented mainly to soften the population's resistance to universal medical surveillance- which would be implemented through vaccine passports. The toxic shots were sold as the way out of restrictions- provided everyone got them. With conspicuous encouragement by the likes of Fauci, Biden, et al, this set restriction-weary people against the "vaccine holdouts" who rightfully prefer to know what's being put in their body and were suspicious of the miraculously swift development of the injections.
