This has less potential for harm than the people plotting to get us involved in wars, yet this is what we get upset about. We'll raise pitchforks for her, but when someone plots to make money thrusting tens of thousands of young boys to their death its, well that's to be expected.

If I could trade issues for that's to be expected and all of society grabbing pitchforks and successfully putting folks in jail I would make the trade. I'd hope other people would too.

I know that is very litterally a whataboutism, but it drives me mad what is very difficult to get society upset about verses what is easy, when one is 1:1000th as bad.

tbh I never hated anyone before. I only hate that which threatens my existence and I have realized that the Jews are threatening my existence. If they would allow White people to live without all the BS, then I wouldn't hate them.

But getting people to care about the people plotting to get us involved in wars changes their entire belief system of how the world is. Plenty of people already believe that humanity is inherently violatory, so they go for the issue that aligns with their beliefs.

Plus, there's the old journalistic adage, if it bleeds, it gets clicks. And when the violator is a woman, it's more shocking, so we get more of these stories than we do of male teachers having sex with female students (even though male teachers offend at a higher rate, despite being slightly lower percentage of teachers).
