Watershed? Can you remember the Mississippi ever going dry? I bet not.

Yes, watershed. It drains over three million square miles, which have been dry due to the planet stabilizing its temperature using the el nino/la nina system on the other side of the world. This will continue at least through this year, but a 4th year would be highly unusual.

very recent, mentioning that we're still several feet away from previous records, but of course it's not a self-stabilizing system it's your fault for using plastic straws: https://a-z-animals.com/blog/the-mississippi-drought-explained-why-is-the-river-drying-up/

A saner take: it's dry out there, but not the worst ever https://www.wvik.org/environment/2021-06-21/no-records-yet-but-mississippi-river-at-very-low-levels

They won't let shipping cease on the river either in case you're worried but p.s. i didn't notice you concerned about all the poison that comes from shipping https://www.businessinsider.com/mississippi-river-drought-may-be-over-us-army-corps-dredging-2023-1?op=1

I must have missed the part about using straws, would you mind rephrasing that?

Ok, you were joking..

When I posted an article stating that perhaps we have fkd up our water tables by drilling too deep, you attempted to poke holes in my topic by "joking".?

Just fyi, I am not joking.
