Sure, I agree that we need a stable govt.. but do we need a religion based govt when the religion is entirely man-made?

The story goes that Muhammad met an angel in a cave.. did that angel tell him to convert or kill everyone on earth?

Somehow I doubt that.

Islam is man-made.

All religions are man-made. If humans need a feel-good story to forget that they are going to die one day, then let it be a story that at least makes them stronger as a people.
