Some people are socially functional with a particular mental dysfunction, while others fall apart..

A similar example is what I observe with meth addicts.. the majority of people will fall down hard when they use meth, but I am also aware that there are some that can use the stuff religiously and it doesn't seem to have any negative effects on their life.

For example, I have had a few acquaintances that shoot meth for decades and even when they are high as fk you can't even tell, they don't show any obvious symptoms.
