In my local supermarket, 15 eggs are £1.79

You are being ripped off.

It's worse in the other grocery stores. Believe me I don't buy the whole avian flu BS. I think they're just squeezing us. I think the supply chain issues were only acute for probably 6 months at best and now they're just trying to recoup losses and then price gouge.

I expect you are correct. Avian flu has never been severe, this is more likely a profit run to get the most out of unsuspecting customers.

The chicken lays regardless, the chicken is irrelevant.

Chickens lay on average 0.6 eggs per day.

Rabbits produce between six to nine baby rabbits per month, for an average of 0.25 baby rabbits per day.

I have never laid an egg or given birth to any rabbits.

Why not, try harder man! Break records, lay 0.8 eggs per day. Cure world hunger. You will be remembered always as the greatest lay of eggs.
