false dichotomy fallacy. the dichotomy isnt "getting with people less atractive than you" vs "getting with people more attractive than you". the dichotomy is "getting with people less atractive than you" vs "getting with people more attractive than you" vs "getting with people as attractive as you and up". women choose "getting with people more attractive than you" rather than "getting with people as attractive as you and up". note that I never said anything about dating down in terms of looks, but you have repeatedly said I have.

listen here roastie, if men arent desperate women will not start magically dating average men, they will still only want chad so they will all sleep with chad, and he will cycle through them, sleeping with all of them but settling for none because he has so many options. none of what I just outlined requires men to have low standards.

You don't seem to understand that if men weren't so desperate and had such low standards, women would have to deal with mens' high standards too. Then the power imbalance would be corrected.

    every foid wants chad, so if every men wants stacy the only people who will end up in relationships will be chad and stacies ad average people wont get into them at all. that's the thing women strictly adhere to their standards in the sense that women will choose to get with noone over their male equivalent.
