Just keep in mind that while Rowling was dogpiled quite viciously for her refusal to cater to the whims of the troons and their cheerleaders, she opened the door to let them in when she obliged whatever other genderspecial and IdPol bullshit people decided to pin on her work (Dumbledore is gay, Hermione could be black, etc.). It wasn't until something she personally was affected by became the issue that she decided to draw a line; a textbook display of the NIMBY mindset so many wokies eventually develop.

Rowling has long been a proponent of feminist causes which is highly problematic as it includes any number of anthrophobic viewpoints.

Good for the author to stand up and do the right thing.

It also reminds us that modern journalism is no longer “go find the truth and report it no matter who it angers”, it’s now “here’s the conclusion we want to reach, go write a story that backs it up”.

They really can’t let the Rowling thing go. I get it since many of them were probably obsessed with Harry Potter well into adulthood. They are books for children. But then again, many troons are basically adult toddlers, needing constant praise and validation.
