In grammar School we had a couple of girls play on our soccer team. It was the worst team I've ever been on in my life, we lost every game, we only had 11 players. The parents in town placed the children how they saw fit. It was such bullshit politics. I was pretty okay at soccer too as a young boy, i was great in the backfield, had a one hell of a kick. And then the year later I was put on a team that went undefeated. That was the last year before they did travel team. Which I never got involved in because you had to tryout, for some reason I just didn't do that. Weird now that I think about it.

They had a report on wheelchair rugby on the TV this morning. The presenter said "it's also a mixed sex sport, it just so happens every player on the national team is male at the moment." unironically.
