Because there's a lot of powerful people that manipulated history for its own ends and needed someone to be the scapegoat, in this case, it was Germany. There's no reason why "The Holocaust" should be given that much relevance, attention, or for the Jews to be given that much benefits when there's been way worse such events in history.
