I ran into an elected official the day I got my license (many years ago when elected officials were good people), and I'll never forget he gave me the advice to watch out for OTHER drivers. Simple but important advice.

Great advice. When riding a motorcycle, you have to not only assume all others will make mistakes, but you have to also look for "outs" in case they do.

What you need to remember is than no one else wants to crash so they will get out of your way.
