Dinkus /u/Hongkongphooey feels the need to discredit a person's belief in God because he is so misled that he has been convinced to declare his love for Satan.

..and, he is convinced that he is smarter than all of the engineers at NASA.

I encourage him to try very hard to make jokes about the greatest commandments.

Go ahead, I am waiting.

Considering most of NASA is diversity hires now, it really isn't hard to be smarter than them.

That could very well be, but I am not a diversity hire, and I don't have any problem reading a chart and if I wanted to I do not have any problem picking up the batphone and having a friendly tech chat with NASA engineers.

Yes, they will answer the phone AND yes they will let you take that conversation as far up the chain of command as far as the caller can take it.

Yup.

I diddnt suspect you to be religious.

The Ten Commandments are pretty good.

With all respect, I am not referring to the ten commandments.

I am, however, referring to the greatest of God's commandments.

Most believers squint when I suggest that you could throw away the entire bible and only keep the greatest commandments, and you can spend a hundred lifetimes and never ever get it right.

Matthew 22:36-40

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

And, of course, I would probably want to hang on to those verses in Corinthians (?) that says that love is patient and kind.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
