No, he invaded after Jewish neocons made continuous threats about weaponizing Ukraine after overthrowing the elected leader in 2014 and then killing thousands of ethnic Russians in eastern ukraine.

The neocons intentionally provoked this war as a means of instituting regime change in Russia, and have since refused a settlement in the hopes they can fatally bleed russia, at ukraine’s expense.
