    I originally got tipped off about sodium nitrite (NOT sodium nitrAte) which is supposed to bring about a condition that resembles death, and then I have been reading about it more.

    I think it is some kind of preservative for meat or food.

    The video below about poisoning feral hogs is good information.. if you check the comments on YouTube, there are only a couple of comments.. one ask if people can take it, it is described as being next best method to taking nembutal.. fyi, nembutal is a drug that kills you dead and quick and painlessly.
