This is mostly coming from the humanities. They try to compensate for their irrelevance by being politically militant. The truth is that they are, for the most part, useless pseudosciences with very little truthful knowledge to offer to the world, therefore they fill the void with progressivist activism. And I say that as someone who has a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and is currently a Physics undergrad btw

It's actually really sad that universities were once a place for discussion, debate and discourse, where all sides could voice their opinion and every topic allowed a conversation, evidently this is no longer the case. This is where we are now...

Conservatives need to stop being afraid of bullshit like this and start fighting back. The truth is that there are still a lot of people with conservative ideas in academia and society in general, but they won't call out this far-left bullshit because they are too afraid of backlash. Just look at the recent example of that transsexual teacher in Canada who showed up to work sporting giant fake tits. Everyone knows that shit is just fucked up and wrong, but only one lone kid dared to actually show up to protest that retardation.
