Yea. I like the replace meals with salad.

Do you eat out or make food at home?

Mostly at home, it's difficult to eat out without ending up with double carbs, and soon enough you realise that home made food is nearly always better than going out to eat.

Me and the waifu try to bulk cook where possible, it saves on cost and it's easy to freeze things like spaghetti bolognese or curry. It's been more challenging trying to reduce carbs for this type of meal, but it works for precooking the protein and veg in bulk and add salad later.

For work lately I've been having meals such as baked chicken breast, pineapple and green beans, or steak with bean sprouts and green peppers. Breakfasts mostly either eggs or yoghurt, no bread. Then in the evening we used to have meal, veg and carbs in thirds of portions, we reduced to just 1/5 carbs and added more veg for her, more meat for me.

Admittedly I slip into bad habits quickly, but normally with full fat coffees when I'm out. Since eating like this, any time I eat bread or pasta, I bloat like a balloon and fart for days...

I understand bad habits. But if you work for most of a month at good habits, you can’t blame your self for a cheeseburger or some wings.

It sounds like your doing great.

I bull prep at home, like you a bit. But I just eat the bulk meal I made all week. This week was veggie soup.

Eggs for breakfast. Bull for dinner. And I usually have a low carb sandwich for lunch.

Sounds good, high five to our healthy living 🖐️

I could live on soup in the winter, pea and ham mmmm. I reckon it's getting more challenging to keep excess weight off as I get closer to 40, and my build is becoming more square, like an English Bull Terrier. But my neck is filling out at a rate that I'll end up looking like a Bulldog...
