Don't ya love asking for permission from someone with a piece of paper to see another person with a different piece of paper? Thank God that system is in place, or you might accidental get the care you need in a timely fashion.

I know, it's frustrating. It took hours to get this all done and I'm going back tomorrow for the actual appointment. I hope! The nurse practitioner didn't seem to understand anything I told her. I have an appointment with an ortho specialist when I wanted an appointment for an osteoarthritis specialist all along.

They did an xray, which I told her was pointless because it's a soft tissue injury, but she said they'd want it anyways.

Good luck, and I hope you find some competent and compassionate people that will listen to and help you.
