Oh no - people are starting to talk about eating right, exercising, sand taking responsibility for their own happiness. Quick, let's call them all Nazis so it doesn't catch on!

There are older names for this. The punk-movement (on both sides of the political spectrum, fyi) in the 1980ies had a "straight edge"-subculture. Which basically advocated the same stuff.

I don't believe it is that much about self-improvement itself. It is more about literally stopping to eat all the bullshit mainstream- and kleptocracy-media try to force-feed everybody with. Developing some ideas (above being a wage-slave) and persistently implementing them instead.

Reclaiming your life and your time.

Besides: If nature says it is "political" they express their fear of these people actually building something on their own.

It obviously isn't this kind of political when "far-right" people and my kind of groups (rather "left", so to say) many times agree on such a plethora of things.

They fear something actually happening. People leaving their screens, which these asshats used to manipulate them 24/7.

People waking up from the coma they were put in by propaganda. From which political side doesn't matter much.

Actions have a much deeper impact than words. Which obviously even some shills calling themselves "journalists" finally have to agree on.

I have been amazed at the vitriol expressed towards those men and communities who have decided to abstain from porn, masturbation, etc., for reasons of self improvement.

Literally all I see in those communities are guys being bros, encouraging each other, offering words of advice, celebrating with each other when they hit a new milestone, reporting on their progress and how much better they feel.

But you wouldn't know it if you only read about those communities. If you trust what the media says, they are havens of violent white supremacist misogynist incels... and that all of the self-reporting from participants that they have more energy, less anxiety, more confidence, etc., is just pseudoscience and must be ignored (but we are always to "believe women" and trust that they know their bodies, etc.)

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but this was a big wake up call for me on how extensively we are lied to, and how coordinated the lies are. The reporting on nofap/PMO communities vs how they actually are in reality, could not be further apart. It's literally a coordinated media campaign against men attempting self-improvement.

I started to ask why this is. One theory is that men who are porn addicts and compulsive masturbators are sedated most of the time and so will not stand up and fight for anything (i.e. "the West"). I don't really buy into this so much, because I think the anti-nofap messaging is on behalf of business rather than government. It's in the interests of business to keep men as hedonistic coomers and consoomers, to keep them as addicts, because the misery and emptiness this creates leads addicts to try to fill the void through consumption. Business is good when people are suffering withdrawal constantly and in need of the next fix. The last thing a drug dealer wants is for his clients to start getting clean.

The typical consoomer redditor's life revolves around porn, onlyfans, weed, shitty Marvel movies, funko pops and overpriced garbage fast food. This is an empty and miserable lifestyle, but maintaining this addictive and consumerist state keeps the $$$ rolling in for businesses.

A man who gets clean of drugs and porn, dedicates his free time to actual culture (e.g. reading the Western canon), does not buy plastic toys or eat unhealthy prepackaged food, is legitimately improving himself and this is bad for business. He can't be so easily milked. I believe this is why there has been such a coordinated and vitriolic campaign against men who choose to refrain from porn and masturbation.
