Trans people make up only 0.03 to 0.06% of the US population but are extremely vocal. I do not mind whatever they want to do (if it's legal) but believe they should not be allowed to perform for children.

I think the "vocal minority" meme is propaganda that hides the fact that it's power that is pushing these politics. The people with all the power are using these "progressive" policies and politics to undermine everyone else simply because the chaos keeps people off balance and unable to address the issues of tyranny.
