Yeah it's wild. CA was great when Arnold was governor. Newsom along with the other far left mayors and city councils have turned it into a shithole. And people keep voting for these assholes. I really don't know what they expect. I'm not sticking around till the 2030s when heat waves hit and you won't be able to drive or turn on your AC.

From what I hear, California used to be one of the most conservative states in America. I suppose that changed when the Bay Area and LA got enough power and influence. When too many people moved from small towns, villages and rural areas into car-dependent suburbs and poorly planned cities. When Reagan gave amnesty to millions of illegals (hopefully the descendants of those illegals are conservative). When the CIA infiltrated the media and the universities.

Where do these idiots think their "zero emission" cars get their electricity from? Reddy Kilowatt? No. Coal fire plants. They are just shifting the pollution to poor areas. Not to mention a SINGLE e car battery requires that 500,000 tons of material have to be mined and processed, again we are talking about strip mines located in third world countries that use basically slave labor. That is for a single battery. And now we are going to nuke our electric grids with this nonsense.

Childish and poorly thought, pie-in-the-sky, ideas are being proven stupid at an alarming rate. We need real leadership that doesn't simply pander to every whim of the low-info masses. Real leadership would recognize that these types of ideas would be great, but aren't realistically feasible at this time and in this way.
