I was talking about the Chinese droughts and my niece overheard me, she said omg, why is nobody talking about that?

Because you have to search for Chinese news, or see it on Saidit. They de-rank this stuff so it never makes it into your feed.

Protesting is a beginning at least.

Protests are the catalyst where folks network to begin the real resistance. Replacing it with anything but bottom-up decentralized alternative resilient flexible systems will only result in more of the same.

Initially networking is certainly not a reason people vent and protest. And even in the thick of it, the majority aren't conscious about it much - however, critically, it's inevitably a big part of what good comes of it, as what comes after depends on the foundations of relationships forged in the heat of the moment - including leaders, thinkers, heads of projects, and of course infiltrators collecting contact info and making next-steps.

I know from first hand experience over this last year and a half in my local communities, including an unanticipated unorganic Windsor blockade of the bridge to the USA that resulted in excessive police overreach and declaration of the unjustified Emergencies Act of Canada by Trudeau's corrupt regime.

These opportunities don't happen too often, when you have hundreds, thousands, or more folks aligned with narrow purpose - and IMO, this golden potential for networking and mass movements is understated and under-publicized. IMO, we should develop flexible, resilient, sustainable templates for authentic, decentralized, bottom-up organizing towards our common goals with ethical FOTPACH management (fair, open, transparent, peaceful, accountable, consistent, honest). The powers that be will always do everything in their power to stop this from happening.

        1000%

That's why skepticism of authority/power MUST be inherently baked into all fair alternatives and solutions.

I should have included that in my previous comment.

I knew it was Canadian of course and it is a good source of info since our regular media is not reporting all the demonstrations around the world. Send me a back channel message if you're going to be on the channel. I'm using my friend's mirror site in a third-world country for the https://Librti.com link to try and pull traffic to his site. He links to lots of goodies. Looking for you.

I use my name, JasonCarswell, everywhere.

Right now we're re-arranging our Windsor Freedom groups to be more fair, inclusive, decentralized, and bottom-up - without narcissist thief liar censoring "leaders" that suck the oxygen out of all projects.

I didn't know that was your real name. It's good you found something constructive and worthy of your time. That is something I need to do. Thanks for your work, as always.

Why wouldn't it be my real name? If it were up to me I would have picked something more interesting. Shame I don't have kids to traumatize forever with my creative brand.

We're going to do an expose on the corrupt politics in Windsor. Should be some interesting conspiracy stuff. Might occupy much of September.

I always thought it was such a fine name, it must be made up. Good luck with the expose but stop in to see us now and then.

LOL. My Mom might like that.

I won't be leaving SaidIt until there's a better place to hang my hat, even if we have to make it ourselves. All in due time.
