I was in Thailand and I saw the elephants that they keep to give tourists rides and stuff. Some of the saddest creatures I've encountered, it was heartbreaking.

I went to a Thai sanctuary where they rescue elephants and they basically said don't do anything to tease the elephants because they literally give no shits and will just pick you up and throw you.

I rode a sad elephant one time.
It was sad.
Another time, I held onto a sea turtle as it swam around the ocean. Nothing sad about that.
I probably wouldn't have tried that with the elephant. Unless we were way out in the ocean, miles from the shoreline.
Maybe I'd climb on it's back, and stay carefully away from the trunk. It would spray me with water from it's trunk, but then realize the sea water burned it's sinuses, and then the ride would get a bit more boring.
We'll see. If that ever happens then I'll definitely post the full story.

The underlying suggestion that "extreme heat" caused the attack underscores the propaganda in this article.
Also, suggesting the elephant ripped a man in half with it's tusks is dubious, at best.
Elephants kill people, but they use their trunks, or they kill by crushing.
Even if the elephant impaled a someone on is tusks, it would still have to somehow pull the body in half, etc.
It's a bit of a stretch.

I didn't get that at all. It wasn't the 'extreme heat' so much as abusively forcing the animal to work and haul shit during said extreme heat that caused the animal to attack. My intent in posting at least was to show people who are abusive/negligent/exploitative of animals getting what is coming to em, not as fear bait for the climate agenda

I get it. I don't think you're posting propaganda. At least that not why you post, etc.
I'm just suggesting it always hot AF in Thailand, and I doubt heat contributed significantly.
Getting killed by an animal that is being abused, is karma. Justice.
