You are certainly right, humans are naturally violent, and males even more so. Testosterone is well known to increase aggression.

I think the interesting part of this post is your thoughts on how society views violence. This is complicated.

Yes, as you imply, many people, often women, express shock, disgust and dismay at displays of violence such as war, killings, etc.

However, I would question whether or not this is honest. Consider the way that movies and television get ratings. You can have any amount of gratuitous violence or even 'gore' and keep your pg-13/tv-14 rating. You wanna say 'Fuck' too many times, show some titties, or depict somebody smoking a cigarette, and that now becomes rated R/tv-ma.

Teenage kids can watch 100 marvel movies that teach them that all problems are ultimately solvable with violence, and clearly we are less worried about teaching them this value than encouraging bad language, sexuality, or unhealthy habits. People that claim to hate violence are also oddly supportive of sending billions of dollars of weapons to ukraine to win a contest of who can inflict the most violence.

Yet protests should always be non-violent for some reason.

Anyways, I don't really have a point here, and I am not trying to take a moral stand, but simply point out that our societal values around violence are really complicated and seem rather inconsistent when it comes to applying principles or morality

Nobody wants uppity livestock. A good peasant is a submissive peasant. No wonder they want us cutting our balls off and taking estrogen.

It's testosterone. It fades in time. Personally, I've experienced enough violence and I got more than I wanted.

This is dumb. Men are naturally fighters. People seem to have no idea what the word violence even means anymore. We have a natural sense to protect and fight against injustice. When needed. Each man has a beast in them, a driving force or a desire. Once these goals are reached their desire to fight is on hold until the beast needs to come back. Create a perfect society without evil and injustice and then there is no need to fight. But as it declines that need will return.

Women are supposed to be under men so not relevant here.

    I don't know any other animal that can live as harmoniously as humans.

    Yeah, interesting people saying men are naturally fighters. If that's so why is a human male 1/6 the strength of a chimp? Men are more aggressive than women but not in the great scheme of things.

    Men have the ability to be violent, but with the brain of reason to use it only when necessary, unless taught otherwise.
