There is no disapora. They are all free to move back at will. They won't be punished, and if they truly are wonderful people, they'll do well in India.

It's not gospel, but I googled the term "Indian Diaspora" and it's extremely widespread, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_people#Indian_diaspora

If there's some reason you find the term insulting, you can share that, but I don't think it's wrong to use the term "diaspora" here.

Perhaps I was being to technical, but it does look a lot like virtue signaling and victim Olympics. After all, people from India weren't driven out, nor kidnapped and dispersed.
