More and more, I'm beginning to think this way. Darwinism is supported by fewer scientists. We're somebody's science fair experiment.

The universe is like people. They both behave in unreasonable ways but humans try at all cost to explain things. And the better you can act seriously and therefore convince people, the more anything will be accepted and considered normal. The church only apologised a few years ago about being wrong that the sun turned around the world.

The thing is that scientists don't mind being wrong, they don't like being wrong but they know it comes with the territory.

Governments and religional institutions won't admit that they are wrong because they see that as a failure (which it is) and they will lose supporters (which will happen as a result).

Evolution exists, it's a logical natural development at least on our planet.

Whether our earthly-based knowledge of the laws of physics are applicable everywhere else in space, I wouldn't know. Perhaps but as space is so big and we know so little, we should stay open-minded for very big surprises.

But why should we expect the universe to behave in reasonable ways if nothing reasonable caused it?

Because it does. (Mostly, don't get me started about quantum physics though)

Not having two universes with known origins to compare, your hypothesis about how this would affect their behavior is untestable I'm afraid.

So if you compiled a bunch of random symbols in a text file, and it compiled into an advanced AI program, you wouldn’t think a programmer wrote it? As a rational, non empirical, conclusion?

No? But I'm not sure I follow you. You just said it was random. Obviously if I know it's random I would not think a programmer wrote it.

So it compiles perfectly with no error, then you say an AI wrote it. Then I ask, what wrote that? Then you say another AI. And we go on and on…

Eventually you will say that either the AI just exists or a thinking being wrote it.

"Intelligent design" is osmium-grade bullshit.

No matter how often this is questioned. Telling a lie n more times adds nothing to its informational value, so to say.

But if you believe so, nobody can stop you.

Until this false assumption about the "reality" of your personal simulation bites you in your ass. Really hard. As it is a seemingly unbreakable tradition about false assumptions on things like this.

I agree with this post.

God is the Greatest Scientist. He is also the Lawgiver. All the laws of the universe were created by Him. Men only discover the laws of nature, but never create them. Without God, there would be only chaos and no order.

Romans 3:1-26:

Then what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the profit of circumcision? We have charged both Jews and Greeks all to be under wrong. And we know that whatever the law says, it says to those in the law, so that every mouth would be closed all all world would become accountable to God; because in law all flesh will not be right in his eyes, for through law is full knowledge of wrong--but now apart from law God's righteousness through faith of the Anointed for all those having faith. For there is no difference, for all have erred and fallen short of the glory of God, to be made righteous freely for his goodwill through the redemption which is in the Anointed, leading to his being himself righteous and the one making the one of faith righteous.

Romans 5:20-21:

The law came in so that wrong would abound; but where wrong abounded, goodwill superabounded, so that as wrong reigned in death, goodwill would reign through righteousness leading to life through Yeshu the Anointed our master.

Galatians 3:10-26

Learn that the righteous will live from faith. For as many as are under the law are under a curse, as it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue to do everything written in this book of law'. And that in the law no flesh is righteous to God is clear, because the law is not of faith, but 'The one who does them will live in them'. The Anointed redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us as it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a pole', so that we could receive the promise of the spirit through faith. What is the law then? It was ordered through angels in the hand of a mediator. But a mediator implies more than one party, but God is only one. For you are all sons of God through faith.
