Allegedly.

I can't speak to the Moon Landing as I wasn't there, but the photos and films are provably staged bullshit.

Look into one of the biggest $cam$ of the last century.

let's see it then. inb4 flat-earth-tier ignorance of physics and optics is the proof

The evidence collected makes it seem less and less likely.

On different missions, allegedly, on completely different places on the moon, they had the exact same horizon with same elements in the same configuration.

The best photographic example, the astronaut in shade on the lunar lander ladder, with the sun from one direction, reflected light from the surface, and an unexplained second bright light source (certainly not the Earth) evidenced by the specular on the TOP of the heel of the space suit boot. Impossible. And it's impossible that the unprotected cameras managed to not have space radiation (on the way there, on the moon, and back again) affect the film - AND they managed to get ALL fantastic photos, without bloopers. Everyone knows you need to take 10 photos to get a decent one, 20 to get a good one, 30 to get a great one, and 40 to get an exceptional photo.

"For me, the most ironic token of that moment in history is the plaque signed by President Richard M. Nixon that Apollo 11 took to the Moon. It reads: 'We came in peace for all mankind.' As the United States was dropping 7.5 megatons of conventional explosives on small nations in Southeast Asia, we congratulated ourselves on our humanity: We would harm no one on a lifeless rock." ~ Carl Sagan 1

A claim without evidence.

The best photographic example, the astronaut in shade on the lunar lander ladder, with the sun from one direction, reflected light from the surface, and an unexplained second bright light source (certainly not the Earth) evidenced by the specular on the TOP of the heel of the space suit boot.

Another claim without evidence, and an ignorance of optics. You might be interested in the simulator Nvidia released a few years ago that does photorealistic, physically accurate ray tracing of this specific scene. Does it show the same lighting you claim is impossible? https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2019/07/19/real-time-ray-tracing-apollo-11-turing/

And another claim pulled out of your own ass, with no example of what you think is impossible or what you would expect to see. FWIW most images you see of space are composites of many smaller overlapping images, taken specifically with the intention of filling gaps or damage that could be present in any single frame. Any image you see from the moon featuring thin "+" marks are this type of composite.

The rest of your comment is opinion, and while I agree it is definitely shady that so much data has been lost, it is a massive stretch to claim it never happened. The given the sheer amount of people involved in the mission it is simply unrealistic to think they wouldn't be coming out of the woodwork left and right to blow the whistle, especially post cold war when it has increasingly popular to shit on america's achievements.

His points are probably reiterated from documentaries, and therefore not "pulled out of his ass," as you so eloquently put it. Are you trying to win an argument in the perception of an audience, or inquiring? Just ask what images he's talking about.

The rest of your comment is opinion, and while I agree it is definitely shady that so much data has been lost, it is a massive stretch to claim it never happened.

Okay, so you agree that the archival material has been lost. Then it's clearly more than opinion.

The given the sheer amount of people involved in the mission it is simply unrealistic to think they wouldn't be coming out of the woodwork left and right to blow the whistle, especially post cold war when it has increasingly popular to shit on america's achievements.

It's hard to determine whether or not there were whistleblowers when 11 people died under suspicious circumstances in relation to this. Also, it's clear that our intuition about people's willingness to blow the whistle on something is mistaken, as is evidenced from all the other conspiracies that have no whistleblower, or the fact that doctors worldwide are continuing with the jab-based genocide.

Actually, I just saw the specular myself, revealing an obvious second light source. IIRC, the identical horizon is in videos. I would love for someone to make a decent, clear, concise documentary about these obvious issues. Too many documentaries mix in a lot of crap to discredit themselves. Maybe I'll make it one day.

I've been meaning to send you this.

This is the best one I've ever seen. It's long, over 3 and a half hours. It's the only one I know of that crams all of it in. When they talk to the dolt from NASA, he literally says nothing except "You're lying." If you've seen it and don't agree, I get it.

an ignorance of optics

As a professional hi-end computer animator in the 1990s and 2000s, I can assure you, I'm very aware of physics, optics, and ray tracing, among other rendering techniques.

Your simulation link is interesting in that it's NOT in the shade yet it also creates a top-down specular on the astronaut's heel that is actually plausible, in both of their recreations, unlike the original in shade I mentioned. Utilizing fake CGI doesn't make it real. (Plus, the robotic gestures are unnaturally stiff and even obvious in the space suit, as is too often the case with CGI by technicians rather than performers/artists.)

Instead of ray tracing, I would have been more impressed if, in the shot that I'd mentioned, they'd back-engineered a chrome ball, like the one placed before James Earl Jones in 2004 when I animated a computer monitor interacting with him for a Verizon TV commercial. He said, "Are you going to read my fortune?" We were too stunned and star struck to respond to Darth Vader's deep voice.

Granted that I'm no radiation expert, but there are countless others who are that say it would have been impossible for film to endure the trip without issues. But I can say that it's also impossible to shoot dozens of perfect photos from the middle of your chest in awkward suits without a bunch of duds. FWIW, we're not talking about composite space shots, we're talking about candid astronauts - and I've not even mentioned the "+" arguments that have their one flurry of pros and cons.

I gave you breadcrumbs for easily found stuff I was too lazy to look up, and even bothered to collect some stuff from past conversations.

Yes, there is a vast history of scandalous events revealed by leaks. People say the government is made of blundering idiots, and maybe they want you to think they're all clumsy and inept so the non-idiots can proceed without interference under plausible deniability. So what of their big missions that remain hidden without leaks? We will never know how many or how few of those too-big-to-be-secret operations managed to stay quiet.

There may have been some kind of landing, but the images and videos are bunk, and they've destroyed all the evidence. They lied about 9/11, climate change, COVID, elections, economies, wars, and everything else. Why are you married to the idea that there couldn't be a Moon landing scam?

Instead of being an evidence-free nay-sayer starting from your predetermined opinion talking about my ass, do some legit skeptical research. Don't seek to believe or disbelieve - just look.
