Wasn't there a magazine or something which went through a similar thing a couple of years back.

The owner crowed about being a socialist, the employees demanded he redistribute the company to the workers and he was like "lol no" and sacked them.

A lot of these people are socialists until they are forced to practice what they preach.

The attention is the drug that's craved.... and there's never enough to satisfy.

The "aggrieved" classes get their sense of empowerment solely from being victims so they have no interest in actual solutions because solving their "problems" will deprive them of their weapon.

I know people that actively avoid hiring queers to avoid all the drama.

I'd hire a gay or a lesbian, but not a faggot, dyke, or a queer.

There is a difference?

To me, gays and lesbians are just otherwise regular people attracted to the same sex but aren't losers so they don't make a big deal of it.

Few and far between so why take a chance on a mis-hire.

I'm in Canada, so maybe it's different. The queers etc are all Millennial and younger. I know a lot of gays who are based.

Oh, so they have been grooming your kids to be gay for decades and it paid off for them. "The queers etc are all Millennial and younger."

Based.

I don’t blame them. Too much baggage. Not sure if this extends to gay people. Though I have been working in my current employment for three months now, and I have yet to disclose my homosexuality in case I get associated with the queers.

LOLOLOL

[Mina's World owner] Parikh blasted other coffee shops for neglecting to “protect their Black and trans employees” and allow customers to enjoy coffee in a space that was not “whitewashed.” However, as chronicled by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Libs of TikTok, Parikh and Egghart are now facing similar allegations. An Instagram page called the “Minas World Workers” began posting accusations against the ownership last month, claiming that they had subjected workers to “manipulation, abuse of power, exploitation, anti-blackness, ableism,” and other charges summarized in a “List of Grievances.” The employees demanded “immediate payment” and told the owners to “redistribute the business.”

In fairness to the other side, here is the perspective of Workers of Mina's World:

The Worker’s of Mina’s World have been put in a position that requires quick and precise action from community. The owner of the building Mina’s occupies is selling the building as a method of retaliating against the worker’s collectivizing. We are in a position where we desperately need to save our livelihoods!! If you have the means we really hope you will stand in full and complete solidarity with us as workers. We are asking you to share this widely and support us in our need to buy the building as well as the 18% of Mina’s World that the owner of the building also owns.
