1 ply has one layer of paper. What you get at school/work. Cheap and you will tear through it. 2 ply has 2 layers. What you get at more expensive restaurants and good jobs. Wont tear unless you're using a bidet, or like it really rough. 3 ply is simple fucking nuts, it has 3 layers. No human being on earth can afford it, and most plumbing can't handle it. Last time anyone tried using 3 ply toilet paper was in Tunguska Russia. It destroyed 80 million trees and at least 3 people may have died from it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event
