His reaction to that toss (it was definitely too slow and arching to be a throw) was slower than my 6yo. I'd like to think he was just tossed but judging by his look he hasn't played an organized sport in a number of years.

He was distracted by the approaching guy in blue.

Didn't notice the clear projectile.

But then he suddenly noticed it.
