As far as the month of Jesus' birth, it can be inferred to be summer or fall. Combining inferences from when shepherds would likely be in the fields and working backward from Zechariah's priestly service (John the Baptist's father) and its connections to Jesus' birth, one arrives at a likely date of mid-September to early October. This would suggest the conception of Jesus might have been in December, but not his birth

Is this not stuff people get in school? Wasn't America once opposed to Christmas for it being a heathen-fest at one point? It must be a shock to find out there are no pine-trees in the sandbox The Christ roamed :p

Compare the length of something so trivial and inconsequential as:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_tree

To the shortness and lack of details on something as important as:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talpiot_program

Well, it's always a double downer for some people when they are told the pine-tree tradition isn't something from Scandinavian origin (while the white/red from Saint Nicolas and 'Santa' does come from Finnish Shamans). The American and Russian headings in the Tree article are worth a read though.

A university Honors program linked to the military isn't something to have a lot of details, I'm not sure what you would have expected to say more.

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of Wikipedia when I noticed how long the tree article was. Hypocrisy like my Mom...

I just had an argument with my Mom. She didn't want me ruining her Christmas. I had already determined that I wasn't going to talk politics but only answer questions, as usual. It got heated in circles because she thinks knowing about the origins of the Christmas tree tradition is a downer.

She literally lives in an ivory tower (Edit: removed link to show their light-beige/grey almost white building) and was giving me shit because she also said word for word, "Ignorance is bliss." I said, "Ya, but it's no excuse either.

So now I'm off to an awkward family dinner with my folks and my brother's family.

Merry Blissmas.

I don't really see how Wikipedia is being hypocritical in the situation.

I hope you didn't dox your mom, also that is literally not an ivory tower: It might be a metaphorical one; but then it's not referring to a building.

Have fun!

The hypocrisy is not that the tree article is long but that really important topics are intentionally short. A double standard that only serves elite interests.

I doxxed my mom. That light-beige-grey is darker in that image than real life. It's not a perfect ivory colour but you could easily say it's ivory. If you mean that the building is not made of elephant tusks then, yes you would literally be correct. It's not the CN Tower or even a sky scraper but it is a high rise, often referred to as a Tower. Directly across the street on the other corner is "Harbour Tower" which is shorter and wider, so... (I live in the house beside Harbour Tower.)

Turns out it was pretty good. We ignored each other and I got to hang with the kids.

Please delete or edit that post with the doxx please, I'm sure I'm not the only one opposed to that...

Unless you Mom is TPTB (as you call 'them') the ivory tower metaphor isn't a thing.

I'm pretty sure you know how Wikipedia works, so if people don't type the article it doesn't get there. Unless there is some proof of additional information being banned/stripped while it's supported by 'real/good' {which is a whole debate at best} sources. The tree Article is an example of people undermining the governments all over the world, the true story about Christmas as we know it is revealed partly in this piece.

Don't get me wrong, I get your conceptual meaning of the first comment overall, but it does not apply in such manner in this case. The meaning of The Christ, being one and acting accordingly (not following the lies of Saul turned Paul or even the Church).

But the Honors page is something the military would keep secret and ruin the lives of everyone who leaks real information about it... Wikipedia doesn't do the censoring, the poeple that know more of it do it.

Like we two know about [x] and I read on wikipedia about [x] I know that You leaked it, now considering the mossad and all, if someone who knows stuff would leak they would know who it is and that person would know they would know who it is...

Kinda like Manning should have known she would be caught... it's inevitable... So Wikipedia as organization isn't really to blame of the lack of information on that page.

Good that it was good, please remove the doxx. [I mean, ffs even antifa retards know not to dump those kinds of things, there are enough retards on the world to cause serious damage with this information]

I removed the link. I hardly think I doxxed her, but if anyone actually wants to find my Mom, her name is George Fauntelroy Carswell III, and she lives on the 42nd floor of that building, apartment #666.

She's not in TPTB (The Powers That Be) club, but she is in a book club, and my Dad has been a member of the Windsor Yacht Club for decades, and while he isn't his father was a Freemason. Gasp. I don't think you have to be in TPTB club to perch in an ivory tower, litterally or figuratively.

Your argument that Wikipedia is not actively stripping content is limited and not valid. It's like saying some cops are not racist. Whole systems are rigged. "Fringe" sources are forbidden but common enough yet selectively guarded against on important matters and articles are written and rewritten and rewritten and rewritten perpetually churning over the content, the tone, and the sources, until "they" get what they want.

You lost me with the Christ, Honors, and Manning stuff. (Assange is a limited hangout, I suspect WikiLeaks may be a whistleblower trap, and I suspect Manning is too, like any name that is in the MSM. If s/he's going to out war crimes, s/he might raise questions about 9/11. Controlled opposition is all that's allowed.)

Wikipedia as an organization is to blame for their rigged rules and their flexible enforcement of them. RT is fringe and sometimes it's not allowed and sometimes it is - depending on the guard dog. This applies to every source that is not corporate media.

Also, Wikipedia is not the cutting edge, front line, breaking wave, or place to leak news or information. Wikipedia is an echo chamber that sources the MSM echo chamber.

Seems legit at first glance (I haven't studied it), this company ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ODEM ) can't even get their page approved because Wikipedia has a strict lockdown to prevent crypto in for fear of scams. (Meanwhile countless scams of the corporatocracy abound. Also keeping cryptos out helps the establishment narrative that cryptos are illegitimate and the Fed is.) I think they should inverse it and let all the scams in and out the scammers with proof. Outing them would protect folks by arming them with information and educate them against such villainy. Many of the scams would be similar and could be classified into families of scams, recent developments, social warning systems, and so forth. But no.

"Good that it was good" - What was good?

"ffs" - ?

I'm still unclear. I hardly think talking about my own life is doxxing myself and my family, nor any kind of secret, especially when I use my real name. Or is it? Maybe I should change my handle to Boaty McBoatface. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boaty_McBoatface

Lol, he doxxed his mom.
