I think we have it all wrong with "only buy American" because it is near impossible. Rather, we should just focus on slowly tipping the scales in favor of American made products by researching an paying a bit more. Also, there's a psychological problem associated with perfectionism, and it's far better to do a little bit of effort each day and not be upset with imperfect results. By tipping the scales and not being upset with still buying CCP products, we will eventually get things changed.
