Did you make sure to centre historically under represented groups and explain how the subject contributes to the continued structural oppression of queer people?

I think jet is saying essay writing in college is an exercise in wokeness and virtue signaling, and getting a good grade depends mainly on your ability to regurgitate the propaganda they indoctrinated you with, rather than thinking critically about the subject. If that's what jet meant, jet would be right.
